Deep down we love taking risks. For our soul, for our highest being acting on our excitement and leaving behind that which doesn’t resonate is the perfect thing to do. Our higher self, the one we get guidance from through our emotions, does not see limits. It knows there is a way for our craziest dreams to manifest, to come into fruition.
When we are attached to belief systems that are not a true reflection of our limitless nature, we don't like taking risks. Taking risks, immersing ourselves in a huge leap of faith seems super scary. Most of us don't like feeling fear, we run away from it, we try desperately to prevent it, we reject it, we don't listen to the guidance the fear actually offers.
Let's be present. Conscious. Aware of the fear, embracing it fully. Every emotion is a signal if we are in or out of alignment to our true core purpose, to our highest vision of ourselves. When we listen, when we consciously ask ourselves questions, we will learn to know more of who we are.
Fear so often is actually our deepest excitement. But through all the conditioned beliefs that we have learnt to attach to, our excitement is clouded. We want to talk to this person, it's exciting but at the same time we feel the fear of being rejected. We project horror scenarios in our mind of what will happen, and as a result we feel scared.
Fear holds so many people back. What we really fear is feeling the emotions of sadness, anger that we have tried so hard to suppress. Let's say we are excited to leave university to follow our true passion in life, but then we have all these thoughts in our mind which are projecting the worst case scenario. We don't want that - so we stay safe, in our comfort zone, not living passionately but at least not having a chance of failing.
I have come to the point where staying in the comfort zone is more painful than the emotional pain I attach to failing when fully going for my dreams. The awareness, the knowing of the joy that lies within the adventure of committing to a highly purposeful life, behind the feeling of fear, has grown too big for me. I am fully honest with myself. I deeply know that following what truly is the life I desire is just so much more expansive, an epic adventure compared to giving in to the idea that we are limited, that we need to be safe.
A lot of us are not really honest. We ignore the subtle feelings that suggest we are not satisfied, we reject the daydreams of something bigger. We rather distract ourselves with things that allow us to suppress our feelings in order to runaway from the feeling of unworthiness. Because when we imagine our dream life and then all the limiting beliefs rush in and create that uncomfortable sensation, it feels like we are unworthy. We don't want that feeling, we suppress it, we reject it, not realizing that we are tapping into a core belief here. A core belief that is creating life unconsciously for us here and there. Something we can look at if we only stay with the feeling, knowing it's a result of a conditioned belief system that's not originally ours.
I want to suggest you to align more with three perspectives. I want you to become conscious of all the thoughts and beliefs that contradict these perspectives and let them go, to release the attachment to these limiting ideas that contradict these empowering viewpoints.
1. When I truly follow my highest excitement, embodying the self that i envision to be of greatest joy, things will fall into place perfectly.
2. My priority in life is to feel absolutely amazing, blissful, expanded and passionate, all my desirable creations that I want to bring forward in this life will manifest when I take care of focusing on my feel good.
3. Everything is always working out for me, every challenge, every perceived roadblock is totally relevant for me to learn more about myself, find ways to fine tune my belief system even further.
