Yesterday I was having a beautiful conversation with my best friend about connecting to presence.
Recently I have been deep into authentic personal empowerment. Visualizing and imagining the desires I have, while surrendering expectations. Taking action and being the embodiment of what I want to see. It has been a great process. It is amazing to see how when you increase your state of being consistently, old belief patterns rise to the surface to be seen again. Once you reach certain energetic embodiments, everything that is not in resonance with this new energetic level, must come up. For you to see the illusionary nature of these limiting beliefs. How they are truly not a reflection of who you really are, but rather of who you have been conditioned to be. Looking at these layers is challenging - At times it brought me back into self-judgment, questioning my development. The feeling of not being there yet. The feeling of not having reached my full potential.
These are still limiting ideas. Still somehow buying into the idea that if you do not reach your full potential, you are not worthy. That if you do not have evidence of success, you are not good enough. The whole society buys into these principles. The recipe for unhappiness, the recipe for never-ending effort to realize again and again that we are still not enough.
We are at a point where we have to realize that behavior will not change anything unless we shift our beliefs.
During the engaging interaction I had with my friend yesterday, I realized that to an extent I am still holding onto these ideas. I have been going into the unconscious mind a lot recently, forgiving the aspects of myself that are wounded, feel victimised. Forgiveness, understanding and compassion are key for transforming our unconscious belief patterns - Resistance is a force that amplifies the pain within us.
We deeply felt that in a certain way we are still jumping from experience to experience in order to feel more, to have more. There is this fine line that I sometimes cross where I forget that love, connection and bliss is to be found in every moment. While doing the dishes, while waiting for the train, while bringing out our trash. We have been trained to become so unconscious when we are faced with an experience that is not stimulating our senses, not entertaining us in some way. Just become aware of yourself how many times you grab your phone to check your mails or facebook purely out of unconsciousness. I still fall into this trap at times - disconnecting from the pure beauty that lies in this moment and looking for stimulation.
If we think about it, every experience is always occurring within our field of beingness, within the awareness that observes. The omnipresent continuum. We define moments as more or less exciting only through our mental ideas and constructs. Labelling experiences such as sitting at the bus stop as waiting, as not enjoyable. Why are we waiting? In this very moment we can tune into the awareness that we are, observe everything around us without labelling it. Find bliss in pure presence, find bliss by merging with awareness. Every experience in a sense is similar - just a different image, different noises, different people in it. The constant - our awareness - always there, always knowing. It is simply us that create ideas of what is good and what is not, what is exciting and what is boring.

Anthony and I decided yesterday that it is time to be tapped into presence continuously. To find bliss and joy in every moment by connecting to what is without letting our mental ideas construct what is real for us. When I had my deep spiritual experience in the summer, I was feeling pure ecstasy by simply being immersed in my beingness. Every experience was indescribably rich. I have taken a lot of that connection and bliss into my life today. However, I feel that there is even more richness for me to be experienced, more presence to tune into. We have decided to enhance the connection of our relationship - Every time we realize the other is in some way being lost in unconscious patterns, such as scrolling through the phone for no actual reason other than sensory input, we bring it up. We give the other person the opportunity to merge with presence again, to see how this moment is so beautifully rich already - No need for entertainment. This is a challenge since it may very well be triggering in the beginning. Feelings of shame, feelings of not being good enough flushing to the surface. However, that is beautiful. Every time somebody is disconnected, we create the space of connection and presence again. Uphold the unconditional love we have for one another again. To notify the other of one’s unconsciousness not out of judgement, but as a result of pure unconditional love. Opening the door to step back into bliss here and now.
I believe that the more we pull ourselves into this space of continuous presence, the more we can tap into our inner gifts, into our true excitement. This is the door for opening up for life to flow effortlessly, for connections and abundance to come in without the need to force it. Since there is no need to escape the present moment here as it fills our experience already. No need to run away to prove ourselves. But to simply follow our joy in every moment not forgetting that it is all special, that all is divine and perfect.
